“I started out at age 6, playing tambourine and taking around the tip bucket for my older brothers Ryan & Kyle Perry. After about a year, I realized I wanted to do something new and different. One evening while my brothers were practicing, I asked if I could play the drums, and they responded with a big fat “NO”. Being the good little sister that I am, I snitched to mom, and she firmly told them to let me sit behind the drums. By the end of the practice session, the whole family was looking at each other wondering how I was able to keep up the pace and timing to all the songs my brothers were playing. Needless to say, after that evening, I got promoted and officially became the drummer for the Homemade Jamz Blues Band. I love it, cause I like it loud.”
